Marc Secretan, PwC | Partner
Marc is a partner at PwC and head of the Geneva office. After graduating from the University of Geneva with a degree in economics and management (HEC), he began his career with PwC in 2000. Since 2004, he has also been a certified public accountant and chartered auditor. In his role as head of services for non-profit organizations in Switzerland, he has been able to devote a significant part of his time in recent years to auditing and advising non-profit organizations and philanthropic foundations, in addition to his involvement with family businesses and SMEs in French-speaking Switzerland. He also has extensive experience of auditing humanitarian projects, and projects financed by the European Union and government funds.
Marc has also been a member of the Board and Treasurer of "Climate Action Accelerator" since 2023, and a member of the Board, Chairman of the Audit Committee and Treasurer of "Interpeace".
Patrick Wagner, PwC | Audit Director
Patrick is a director at PwC in the Geneva office, and has been working with non-profit organizations, family businesses and SMEs in French-speaking Switzerland for the past 15 years. After studying business administration at the University of Fribourg, he began his career with PwC in 2008. Since 2012, he has also been a certified public accountant and chartered auditor. As part of his career at PwC, he spent two years in our technical department in Zurich, where he was responsible for accounting aspects relating to Swiss law and Swiss GAAP RPC. While mastering the auditing of financial statements, both statutory and consolidated, and internal control systems, it is really in the field of Swiss GAAP RPC that he has specialized and for which he is responsible for training in French-speaking Switzerland. The diversity of his client base, combined with his specialization, has enabled him to develop and adapt innovative audit approaches, and to advise his clients on the application of both Swiss accounting standards and Swiss GAAP RPC.
